The 30th Anniversary edition of GlobalABS has now come to an end - it’s been a fantastic week with so much opportunity to catch up with clients, partners and friends.
A few themes kept coming up in conversations:
- Private credit and securitisation continue to converge, with asset-backed finance, NAV lending and structured funding featuring heavily.
- Investors remain active but increasingly focused on transparency, governance and risk.
- The AI conversation has shifted from potential to practical implementation and efficiency gains.
- Across all of these topics, data quality, consistency and trust kept emerging as critical foundations.
- Digital infrastructure, particularly data centres and AI-related assets, felt like a much bigger focus this year.
Overall, the mood felt positive and focused. The industry seems to be moving from discussing what’s possible to figuring out how to scale it.
